Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Customer Service for new grill damaged I purchased my Weber E-325 thru Costco and had it shipped to my home. This grill is replacing an 18-year-old Genesis 300 series grill that is worn out due to the grill case having a hole that burnt thru after many years of use. It still cooks wonderful but has become dangerous to light. My wife and I decided we needed something smaller for the 2 of us. The Weber Spirit series had everything we needed. The package arrived on a Friday and when I got home from work and began to unbox and assemble it. The box was completely undamaged, no hole, rips visible. As I removed the pieces and I found the side, bottom and door were bent, the side was extremely bend. I'm guessing that it bounced around in shipping and cause the damage. I was sad and upset but went ahead a registered the grill. I sent a warranty complaint / claim at the same time. Saturday morning, I decided to call Weber and verify my claim. I spoke to a real person who was very helpful. She did find my claim and apologized for the inconvenience. She said she would resolved my issues and asked for pictures of the damaged parts. She sent me a link via text while on the phone with her to upload the pictures. Easy as pie! She reviewed the pictures while I was on the phone with her and confirmed that replacement parts are being sent to my home. I received my parts 4 days later and finished assembling my grill. The grill lights easy, cooks great like my old weber. Very pleased with Weber and their customer service. I have had other grills over the last 40 years, but nothing beats a Weber! Make sure to register your model & serial number. They honor warrant claims for some pieces for years.
