Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not happy with my new spirit E325 There are two or three things that are disappointing to me. 1st you recommend to bring it up to 500° to start. It's very difficult to control the temperature after that and lower it. It stays at 500 which is too hot sometimes for what I'm doing. My older spirit which worked for 18 years was much better with the controls of the heat. Secondly my all the spirit had a hook to hang the propane tank so you knew when it was nearing empty and you wouldn't run out in the middle of cooking. This new one just sits inside under the grill, and there's no way of knowing how much propane is left.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill I like this grill. Both shelves do fold down which was hard to determine from online retailer listings. It gets nice and hot quickly when I need it to. The cast iron grates are heavier than other grills that I considered. Always a good cook. For the price point though, the grill should have casters on the two fixed legs. People likely choose this model because it is space saving and those casters would greatly help to tuck this into a tight deck space when not in use. Read the 10 year warranty closely, only some parts are guaranteed 10 years. The grates 5 years. The grease tray assembly, looks to only have two years. This part seems vulnerable to rust from moisture that is attracted to salts accumulated from food drippings but it is easy to remove and clean occasionally so hopefully there will not be a rust problem. Overall a great grill except for my two pet peeves of casters and warranty fine print.
