Rated 1 out of 5 by GrillMasterOz from Not a Replacement but rather a Downgrade I received this as a replacement through the recall, and I agree with others here—this is not a true replacement for the original brush, but a completely different product. While I appreciate Weber addressing the safety issue, this nylon brush simply doesn’t clean at the same level. It lacks the rigidity and effectiveness needed to remove residue, especially between grates. The expectation was a functional equivalent, but this feels like a downgrade with a different use case. As a longtime Weber customer, that’s disappointing. I hope Weber takes this feedback seriously and offers a solution that matches the original performance while maintaining safety.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Weber Brand Declines from Garbage Plastic Recall Brush Replacement! This is just a cheap temporary brush to address their ongoing litigation for the metal wire bristle brush. I received this as a replacement for the weber wire brush. First, this is not a replacement, it is a cheap way to appease the regulators/lawsuit. Second, why don't you inform the 3.3 million customers who took the time and energy filling out the recall forms that you will be not be replacing with a similar brush but a cheap plastic bristle brush that is worthless in cleaning your weber grill grates....Weber lost a lot of confidence and respect for your brand after this bait and switch scam you are running right now just to save a dime!

This thing does virtually nothing for cleaning the grates. Weber you should be ashamed of yourselves for putting this product out. This will definitely influence any and all future products from Weber. To say is am irritated is a vast under statement.
