Rated 1 out of 5 by Rich1234 from Flimsy door and handle review only. The smoker itself is great but the door and plastic handle are horrible. The door became very loose almost immediately and didn’t take long for the handle to break. The screw that holds the door to the plastic handle breaks apart the handle and can’t be fixed so the only option is to buy an entire door and handle kit. Why doesn’t Weber use metal for the handle, especially considering the price of the smoker? I purchased a sturdy aftermarket door but still have to use the flimsy plastic handle the comes with the smoker. Now I have to use a log leaned on the door to hold it in place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by R.L. from The this is a review of the Side door only For such a great smoker the door you provide is horrible. It does not seal and it is flimsy. I own 2 22.5 inch smokers and an 18 inch smoker I had to replace all of them with the stainless steel door from CB. You should contact them and have them supply you with doors.
