Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glow plug doesn't last I love my Webber smokefire but I have resigned myself to the fact that I have to keep a replacement glow plug available st all times. Very annoying but I have to continually order new glow plugs to be sure to have one when the current one goes out, which it will...Wish it wasn't so but every time I grill for a long period of time on my smoke fire , undoubtedly the glow plug will expire. But I love my smoke fire so I make sure the glow plug is working (and that I have a spare one) every time I use it, I guess its a small price to pay for a great smoker!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glow plug I have had the webber smokefire for a little over a year and have replaced the glow plug 3 times. They are very expensive for this part and even after changing it out I can never smoke turkeys at 225 for over 6 hours or it will burn out. Would love some feedback on what to do to improve this. I invested over $1200 in the grill and now several hundred in parts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glow plug issues continue I have the EX6 and just haven’t been impressed. I swapped it for my BGE and what a regret so far. The glow plug is ridiculously short lived and at $25 a pop for these, they should last longer. . I’ve replaced the igniter w few times now and with almost every start I have to mess with the plug. Or replace it. The hopper slide is no better. That’s been replaced as well and the pellets still don’t slide correctly. I’ve been a loyal Weber fan with my grills but I’m regretting this pellet grill purchase.
