Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the Weber Grill Academy.

All bookings can be made via the Grill Academy tab on our website. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure your place. In the unlikely event that you have trouble when booking, please give us a call on (08) 8425 9499.

You will receive an automatic confirmation email once your booking has been processed. Please check your junk mail in case it is directed there.

Our experiences vary in length, generally between 2 – 4 hours. When booking tickets for your event, you will see a start and finish time specific to your session.

Grill Academy Adelaide is located on Level 3, 142-144 Fullarton Road, Rose Park. Please enter via Watson Avenue at the main entrance and take the elevator up to Level 3.

Absolutely, all experiences and events include time to taste and enjoy the delicious, barbecued food. Food is only to be consumed during the experience and is not available to take away.

If we know in advance, we try our best to be able to cater for most requirements. We run specific vegetarian and plant-based barbecue classes, however generally all our other classes contain meat and seafood. For any allergies or specific dietary needs, please contact us before booking in for a class, as it may not be possible to alter the menu without notice.

If you let us know more than 10 days in advance, we may be able to transfer you into another date. If it is within 10 days, you are more than welcome to send someone in your place. Please just let us know their name, contact details and any dietary requirements that they have. A considerable amount of time goes into preparing for each experience, so we are unable to transfer you at such short notice. We are unfortunately unable to provide transfers or credits within 10 days. We do not provide refunds.

It is possible to transfer your booking to another food experience up to 10 days before the booked event. You can log in to your account online to change your booking. Please give us a call or send us an email if you require assistance. Please note this is not confirmed until you have received confirmation. Unfortunately, we are unable to change your booking within 10 days of the event.

Yes, we maintain compliancy with the current SA Health COVID-19 best practice guidelines and our plan is displayed at the venue. Our response is tailored to local conditions and may change over time; however, your hosts will explain current guidelines during the housekeeping for each event.

Absolutely, we have a retail area which is open during our events and experiences. We have a range of barbecues, accessories and cooking equipment ready for you to take home. Payment by card only on premises is accepted.

Yes, absolutely. Only guests who have booked and paid for a course or event are able to attend, however, please let us know in the comment section of your booking if you wish to be seated with another guest that has booked separately.

The capacity for our barbecue courses is 20 people, unless otherwise specified. For group enquiries, please contact us via our Private Events form.

Yes, you will receive a set of recipes via email from each course you attend.

Everything you need for your experience is provided. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed in shoes. Our barbecue experiences and events are held in our outdoor area, so please bring weather appropriate clothing. For safety reasons, Grill Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to participants who are wearing inappropriate clothing or footwear, and refunds or transfers will not be permitted. Aprons are available in the Grill Academy for participants.

Unless specified, or permission given prior, children are not permitted in the licenced venue. In the future we may offer food experiences specifically for children under the age of 18.

Absolutely, we have a range of experiences on offer. For more information or to contact us, please visit the Private Events section of our website and we will have someone call you back to speak in detail about your upcoming event.

Tickets to experiences and gift vouchers are non-refundable. Experiences and events can be cancelled and rebooked with 10 days’ notice. See full terms and conditions of our Cancellation Policy on our website.

Yes, most of the cooking is held outside in our outdoor cooking area. Please bring weather appropriate clothing to your barbecue experience.

There is plenty of street parking available on Fullarton Road, Watson Avenue and Thomas Place. Undercover parking is reserved for tenants of the building. The Grill Academy entrance is located on Watson Avenue.

Grill Academy Adelaide is a fully licenced venue. For barbecue experiences and some ticketed experiences, we offer complimentary beer and wine, (and other non-alcoholic drinks) to accompany the meal. For other events, drinks will be available to purchase from the bar using eftpos facilities.

Yes, we have a lift and wheelchair accessible facilities. The Grill Academy is located on the third floor. For any other accessibility questions, please give us a call on (08) 8425 9499.

Unless specifically outlined, we use a range of different Weber barbecues in each barbecue experience. You are welcome to enquire as to whether a particular type of barbecue will be used at your event or course.

We allow a group of up to 10 people to book into our ticketed barbecue courses in one transaction. For groups of 10+ or to book out a class, we offer private experiences and encourage you to get in touch via our Private Events tab.

Grill Academy is open for events and experiences, and unfortunately is not a retail store with regular business hours. If you are attending an experience, the retail store will be open with a small range of accessories and barbecues on offer. For the full range, visit www.weber.com or your nearest Weber Store or retailer.

Absolutely, we would love for you to take photos of your experience. Video is not permitted unless previously arranged. Grill Academy reserves the right to revoke this permission at any time during a barbecue experience or event. Grill Academy requests that you use discretion and respect other participant’s privacy when using a camera. If you post photos of your experience at our venue, we may re-post or use these photos ourselves. Please tag your photos using our hashtag and handles: #webergrillacademyau

Grill Academy Adelaide can be reached by bus. From Grenfell Street in the city, take route 144 towards Glen Osmond via Toorak Gardens, and stop at Stop 1A or Stop 1 on Fullarton Road. Alternatively, from Grenfell Street in the city, take route 141 or 142 towards Burnside/Stonyfell, and stop at Stop 1 on Kensington Road, which is also in short walking distance to Grill Academy Adelaide. The entrance is located on Watson Avenue.
