For two events only, Australia’s one-and-only Weber Grill Academy welcomes the renowned former Hentley Farm executive chef, Clare Falzon, for Fire, Flames and Fine Dining presented as part of Tasting Australia 2024.

Friday 3 May 2024, 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Saturday 4 May 2024, 11.30 am to 2.30 pm

These unique events will showcase South Australian seasonal produce, kissed by fire and flame on Weber barbecues – all curated by Clare Falzon

Clare and the Weber Grill Academy Barbecue Experts will be cooking a selection of canapes on the all-weather balcony, before seating guests to enjoy a main course and dessert in the dining room. Each course will be paired a South Australian beverage, with further beverages available to purchase from the bar.

Guests will be guided through their meal by Clare and the Grill Academy team, who will be covering the produce, its origins, and any treatment and cooking methods used in its preparation.

Proud to now call South Australia home, Clare Falzon passionately champions some of the state’s best and respected producers and treats their produce with the upmost respect to create memorable dishes in which ingredients shine in their own light.

Two events only – a Friday dinner event and Saturday lunch event are on offer.

About Clare Falzon

While at Hentley Farm, Clare was the recipient of several awards and programs, including wining Delicious Magazines National Produce Awards Next Generation Chef of the Year Award in 2022, nominated for The Advertiser’s Woman of the Year Award in 2023, participating and competed in Appetite for Excellence in 2019, and was a Gault & Millau’s Young Talent of the Year Finalist in 2019.

Under Clare’s leadership, Hentley Farm Restaurant received 17 points and 3 hats in the Australian Good Food Guide, won Reader’s Choice Regional Award twice, and was also nominated for Gourmet Traveller’s Best Regional Restaurant in 2021. In 2023 Hentley Farm restaurant was cited as a top 10 South Australian restaurant in the Gourmet Traveller Annual Restaurant Guide.

About the Weber Grill Academy

Australia’s one-and-only Weber Grill Academy is in Rose Park, with spectacular views across the parklands and to the Adelaide CBD. Opened in November 2020, this custom-built facility hosts hands-on barbecue cooking classes, functions and private events – all with that unique Weber flavour.
