The Sear Zone is on the right-hand side of the Genesis models, directly above the Boost Burners. It is an ultra-hot area that reaches temperatures of around 400°C, powered by the Boost Burners, making it easy to create bold, flavourful, restaurant quality sear marks.
The Genesis models feature two stainless steel, dual-row PureBlu™ burners, that can deliver 35% more power for intense, even heat in the Sear Zone. They can be activated when you require searing heat, by simply turning the control dial towards the low setting, then pressing in and turning to the Boost setting.
The Genesis models come with a Weber Crafted Grill, allowing you to flip over and add additional Weber Crafted and Gourmet Barbecue System (GBS) accessories, to expand your cooking options. Options include; Pizza Stone, Dual -Sided Sear Grate, Wok and Steamer, Grilling Basket and Dutch Oven Duo.
With the Weber Works™ Prep, Cook, and Store System you can keep cooking and cleaning supplies handy, carry food and condiments from the kitchen to the griddle, convert the side table into a prep station and improve generally your cooking experience. There is a range of Snap On and Drop In accessories available.
