Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding smoker I bought my 37cm Weber smoky mountain cooker about a year ago now and without question I've cooked/smoked the most delicious meat I've ever eaten on/in it, guests frequently gush over how succulent the meat is. Paid a bit extra for the Weber brand but previously having had a Weber Q, which was also brilliant, I went for the Weber again with my smoker, despite cheaper similar shaped smokers by other brands available. For me it's been worth the extra spend, there's definitely a certain quality about the Weber's that make them worthwhile. The only feature that I think could/should be improved is the way the three compartments are joined - if the joining edge on each of the compartments were reversed it would allow for water runoff rather than water pooling, a little bit disappointing that the designers didn't think of this, if you flip the middle section you'll understand what I mean. Also if there were some flip latches or swing hooks that could lock the three compartments together that would also be very handy, because if for instance you're smoking outside and it starts raining and you need to move your smoker undercover while it's mid cook it's really not doable, if each compartment we're able to latch together then you could just lift it and carry by the handle on the lid, but I'm sure those sorts of things will come with future designs. As far as doing what it's meant to do - smoke meat, it excels; or maybe I'm just a good cook..... 😅😜 Who am I kidding, couldn't do it without my Weber Smoky Mountain, thank you. PS - mine came with a really handy manual and extremely helpful smoking guide which is excellent too refer to if in doubt about temperature and timing for different types and cuts of meat. Cheers (I've done the right thing by doing a review for you so other people can make an informed choice on their smoker, so please don't put me on some email database where I start receiving a whole bunch of spam emails from God knows who, that would negatively impact my choice of a Weber smoker and I might be having to come back and redo my review......)
