the Ingredients

27 Cumi Cumi Bakar
  • 1 kilogram White squid

For the Marinade:

  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 100 grams Onions
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 200 milliliters Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

    In the kitchen:

  • 01 Separate squid tentacles from the body and rinse.
  • 02 Combine all marinade ingredients in a blender and blend till you get a smooth paste.
  • 03 In a drip pan, combine the marinade with the squid.
  • 04 Arrange marinated squid in the Fish Basket.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Preheat grill to 220°C for 15 minutes with the lid down.
  • 02 Place the Fish Basket with squid on direct heat. Cook for 3 minutes with the lid down.
  • 03 After 3 minutes, flip the grill basket over and cook the other side for another 3 minutes with the lid down.
  • 04 Finally remove the cooked squid and serve with sambal.
