Rated 1 out of 5 by Peter1954 from Protectant Once applied per instructions to stainless steel surfaces, the protectant was like glue & when trying to wipe off excess, smeared all over stainless steel. The reason I tried this product was due to stainless steel having rust spots all over BBQ. In the end to remove protectant used a car polish which also seems to keep rust at bay.
