Rated 1 out of 5 by from Webber Hotplate for Family Q I purchased a Family Q and also a Tailor made hotplate 15 months ago. The hotplate has many rust marks on it (pitted) one is around 30 mm round and many others (at least 12) the size of a 20 cent piece. Hot plate has been used about 4 times. Not impressed. Warrant on hotplate is for 12 months, even though it started to pit after about 6 months. Will NOT be paying $ 89.90 for another one, will be using a frying pan instead. Not impressed. Tom

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Family Q Hotplate Mitre 10 was the only store to have the one and only Q3000 hotplate. We enquired at other places but there was a shortage. Love the Q3100 BBQ and especially having the hotplate together with the grill plate. I think the bbq should come standard with the a hotplate and a grill plate, as the spare extra grill plate I have will never be used.
