The Wishing Well

In the 1960’s, people across the United States were investing in patios and wooden decks.  They wanted to extend their living and entertaining space outside their home.  Home magazines featured projects on building seating, storage and conversation nooks.

Weber wanted to take advantage of this new interest and we designed a series of novelty grills for consumers who wanted something unusual.  These barbecues also created interest from home furnishing editors working for newspapers and magazines, so there was the added value of exposure for the Weber brand on a national level.
