the Ingredients

Gambas Al Ajillo
  • 500 grams prawns
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Whole chilli pepper
  • 100 milliliters olive oil
  • Salt


    In the kitchen:

  • 01 Peel and devein the prawns, then add salt to taste.
  • 02 Peel the garlic and cut into slices, but not too thin.
  • 03 Wash the chilli pepper and cut it too.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Prepare the barbecue for direct heat – approx. 220°C.
  • 02 Place the griddle on the grate and let it preheat. Then add some olive oil and leave to heat up for a few minutes. Once hot, add the slices of garlic and chilli pepper, stir everything a bit and then add the prawns.
  • 03 Cook without touching for about 6-7 minutes. Then serve – for example with a good piece of bread.
