the Ingredients

Chinese Chicken Wings
  • 4 Chicken wings
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 20 milliliters Cooking oil

Instructions

    In the kitchen:

  • 01 Wash and dab dry chicken wings.
  • 02 Next marinate with 5 spice powder, salt, sugar and pepper.
  • 03 Keep in chiller expose, overnight.
  • 04 Remove from chiller 30 minutes before grilling.
  • 05 Brush with oil before putting on grill.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Prepare the barbecue for indirect heat, approx. 180°C. If using a charcoal barbecue, you need ½ chimney starter of lit briquettes.
  • 02 Arrange chicken wings in drip tray and put in grill on indirect heat.
  • 03 Roast at 180°c for 12 minutes until golden brown
  • 04 Remove from grill and serve hot.
