the Ingredients

Ma La Xiang Mussels 576X265
  • 500 grams Fresh Mussels
  • 200 grams Onion
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Soy milk
  • 1½ tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons Ma La Xiang sauce


    In the kitchen:

  • Rinse the mussels.
  • Finely dice the onion.
  • Juice the lemon then cut into small slices.
  • Combine all the ingredients to make the marinade, then marinate the mussels for 2 hours.
  • At the barbecue:

  • Preheat grill to 220°C for 15 minutes with the lid down.
  • Once the GBS Dutch oven has been preheated, pour in the mussels and the marinade and give it a stir.
  • Close the lid of the GBS Dutch oven and the lid of the grill and allow to bake at 220°C for 10 minutes.
