Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stainless steel grates with magnetic properties I purchased these grates with the idea there were stainless steel. I put a magnet to the metal and it was magnetically attracted. Good quality stainless steel should be non magnetic. These grates will probably rust in a few years the same as my last replacement SS Weber grates did making them throw aways because the rust was very bad and they would not clean up enough to cook on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I trust Weber to know what works on a Weber BBQ The grates are just what I expected. Because of our northwest weather, I havn't used them yet. I do like the idea that I'm not eating the rust off my old grates. I expect them to work great.
