The Deployment Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics activities across all North American Weber facilities. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice processes to increase transportation efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities. This position will require to partner with supply chain teams, logistics providers and functional leadership to provide best logistics solutions and recommendations. The Deployment Leader will be accountable for executing inter-facility deployment movements and equipment needs, effective use of company assets, and on time delivery support. The leader will be expected to deliver a deployment plan and lead a change management process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing an intra-facility deployment process to drive efficiency
  • Manage intra-facilities truck movements, equipment needs and trailer inventory
  • Liaise with key internal/external partners such as procurement, suppliers and manufacturers to arrange product movement
  • Communicate and coordinate with Weber nominated logistics providers
  • Work with leadership to troubleshoot and resolve constraint in the supply chain process
  • Generate reports and analyze data to provide timely and proficient logistics solutions
  • Manage annual spend and analyze cost savings opportunities
  • Reports monthly on cost and service performance

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • 3 to 5 years of Inventory and Logistics Planning experience required
