Reporting to the VP of Finance the selected candidate will be part of a highly visible Global Supply team working closely with Senior Management on Strategic initiatives to “Fuel the Growth” for Weber Stephens Products.

Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to delivery of KPI’s around Average Inventory, Overheads, Distribution spend and Freight. This individual will be an active member of the leadership team for Logistics and the Materials team becoming of an integral part of delivering 2020 strategic objectives for the function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, ability to create complex financial modeling, curiosity to dig deep and the confidence to effect positive change throughout the organization. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Support for VP’s of Logistics and Materials with direct focus on Inventory Management, Warehousing Costs, Scorecarding and delivering KPI’s, Working Capital and Overheads Management
  • Period End Close ownership over Inventory Reserves, Freight Accruals, 3rd party Logistics Spend, Distribution and Cycle Counting
  • Support associate development and engagement of local finance team, including 2 direct reports. This includes career planning, coaching, annual goals, objectives, and performance assessments
  • Support functional Special Projects
  • Establishment of B/ S Reconciliation Process for key Supply Chain Accounts (Inventory , Freight)
  • Provide Strategic financial leadership and manage ad hoc requests from SLT

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus 
  • 7+ years of experience working in a Finance/Supply Chain environment
