Summary
The Associate Manager, Digital Commerce & DTC is responsible for supporting aggressive growth with eTailers and Weber’s direct to consumer businesses. This position will work closely with both the Strategic Account Lead, Digital Commerce and the DTC Manager & Innovation Lead to optimize our digital presence and drive sales and market share growth with national, pure play and specialty eTailers as well as on Weber.com, in Weber’s digital apps and via our employee store. This position will lead product content planning & execution and own the scorecard for content relevance with eTailers as well as assist in product, pricing, promotion and innovation planning & execution for Weber’s DTC channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define eTailer requirements, digital content needs and timing to guide product content planning. Develop and maintain an eTailer content calendar for new product/program launches and seasonal features/promotions and work closely with Marketing & Sales teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Develop a monthly scorecard for content relevance and analyze digital content investments with eTailer accounts to determine customer impact and ROI: HomeDepot.com, Lowe’s.com, Target.com, Walmart.com, AceHardware.com, TrueValue.com, Abt.com, BBQGuys.com and Wayfair.com. Use insights to inform content planning and work with Strategic Account Lead, Digital Commerce, and directly with eTailer teams to make adjustments, updates and other optimizations.
  • Write creative briefs and lead weekly meetings with U.S. Creative Lead and Global Marketing & Brand Experience team to deliver best in class product content that is optimized for consumer engagement and search performance, with a focus on product descriptions, images, videos, copy & bullet points and technical documents.
  • Manage Webcollage and other content syndication tools. Identify opportunities to improve the content development, deployment and performance measurement process; make recommendations to the Marketing & IT teams and work cross-functionally, with selected partners and with directly eTailers as needed to implement.
  • Support the DTC Manager & Innovation Lead in planning and executing product launches, pricing initiatives and promotional campaigns to achieve aggressive growth goals for Weber.com, Weber’s digital apps and in our employee store. Assist in developing and executing the DTC innovation roadmap and building Weber’s capability to acquire new consumers.
  • Assist DTC Manager & Innovation Lead and Global Marketing & Brand Experience and IT teams in creating a best in class user experience across all DTC touch points: digital engagement, fulfillment, returns processing, etc.
  • Assist in execution of Paid Search and SEO initiatives and implementation.
  • Bring visibility to and educate internally on digital commerce best practices and key developments within the DTC space.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 1- 3+ years’ experience in Sales or Marketing roles, with 2+ years of experience leading the execution of digital product content marketing initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is required
  • Experience using product content management and measurement platforms (Webcollage, Salsify, Clavis/Edge, etc.) required
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity around product content marketing with a passion for developing best in class content
  • Strong ownership mindset, proven team player comfortable working on multiple cross-functional teams and a drive to deliver results
  • Passion for the constant evolution of the digital commerce environment and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands
  • Highly enthusiastic and hands-on business approach
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
