The Social Media Manager, Brand Experience & Digital Marketing position will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the Weber brand. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns. Protects the Weber brand through careful and thoughtful digital and social reputation management. This role will be well versed in the latest digital technologies and social media trends, exhibit excellent communication skills, and excel at expressing Weber’s vision and priorities creatively. This role will support the America’s digital engagement initiatives, with the focus to drive brand affinity, loyalty and overall consumer lifetime value. This role will work closely with the Consumer Engagement Lead, Brand Experience & Digital Marketing position.      

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media & Influencers

  • Create and lead long-term strategy for developing a unified voice across the U.S. via all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
  • Defines and develops digital experiences, tools, and processes to enable community engagement between consumers, customers, influencers and Weber.
  • Drives alignment and pushes for social first thinking within the greater integrated marketing effort to bring cohesive Weber brand to market.
  • Challenges teams to have their finger on the pulse of what’s happening in broader society, with a point of view on how Weber can shape and participate in those conversations.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and social elements of brand marketing campaigns.
  • Lead effort to create unique content and write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks.
  • Conduct content gap analysis and develop three-year social content plan for written/image/video materials.
  • Development benchmark metrics and goals to analyze and evaluate social media performance including competitive landscape; use analytics to calibrate the program daily and demonstrate program progression to Weber leaders.
  • Manage social media budget including all third party agency partnerships.

Ratings & Reviews

  • Develop & execute holistic ratings and review strategy for U.S. business.
  • Develop discrete action plans to increase quantity, quality, and scoring of ratings and reviews across Weber-owned and non-Weber-owned websites and digital platforms.
  • Lead Bazaar Voice syndication strategy driving relevancy via ratings and product reviews.
  • Works closely with Customer Service ensuring consistent messaging and brand engagement with consumers who are interacting via reviews.
  • Resolve customer issues through social media.
  • Analyze and collect consumer feedback to be shared with product development on a quarterly basis helping to drive insight based business decisions for new product launches.
  • Drive creation and syndication of ratings and reviews for all new product launches including retailer partner program such as Amazon Vine, Lowe’s Loop and Home Depot SEEDS.

Blog/Online Content Support

  • Support the Consumer Engagement Lead, Brand Experience & Digital Marketing identifying guest bloggers (influencers), editing posts, creating posts and publishing content that is aligned with Weber’s social strategy.
  • Lead strategy to make consumer feedback actionable.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ work experience in Marketing, Digital, and Social Media
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Experience developing a CRM solution, managing life stage/email marketing and social engagement, fine-tuning website experience to increase sales/engagement, managing a consumer database, consumer loyalty clubs are required
  • Experience launching/managing a .com store is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills and passion for constant evolution of the digital environment and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands
  • Ability to clearly articulate a plan and manage the necessary details to deliver the plan by leveraging resources across the organization
