Summary

The Rework Coordinator is responsible for daily logging and maintaining records for record keeping and data manipulation of rework and customer returns. Supports rework and customer returns personnel in numerous areas. Especially as it relates to recording and storing data and disposition of product as per management direction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned

  • Perform all clerical functions effectively and efficiently.
  • Support and configure personnel to meet end-user needs.
  • General department support.
  • Collection of data for meetings, reports and charts required by management group and/or sister departments and generation of reports from the data
  • Shipping & receiving of sample parts including inventory transfers, email confirmations, documentation, and data collection
  • General clerical, filing and retrieval of product records and rework.
  • Confidential record keeping
  • Department meetings – minutes and coordination
  • Order supplies for department (Maintenance work orders and Purchase orders)
  • Preparation and photographing of samples
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers
  • Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly logs and reports
  • On occasions, support others to maintain efficiency.
  • Distribution of reports to the technical and management personnel.
  • Interface and communicate data information to various technical and management levels.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills      
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Qualifications 

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to understand technical data and generate reports.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP
  • Proficient Computer knowledge
  • Overtime may be required
  • Basic math.
