Summit® S-470 Gas Grill is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I am 66 years old and have been a Webber fan for years, but this new grill is the worst. The stainless is of low quality and even while covered the rust is evident. The gas knobs are poorly manufactured as well. The markings have worn off after very little use. The stops on the control valves do not give you the feel of when the grill is securely shut off and I have accidentally wasted a few tanks of gas by not securely shutting off the grill. Now I do know that the securest way to close down the grill is to close the propane but sometimes it doesn't get done. I am very disappointed in Webber for the first time in 30 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from quality of manufacturing materials is not good lik My third Weber grill and the most expensive as we thought that an upgrade to their top of the line summit S-420 would be worth it. Well the stainless steel and the chrome on the grill has failed at just over 2 1/2 years. Stainless is rusty and the chrome is pitted and peeling. Knob labels have worn off and it is hard to tell if the grill is really off. The stainless doors on the cabinet still look great after polishing with SS cleaner. They must be made from a better quality Stainless. I called weber customer service and they do not cover the stainless steel parts after 2 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So much for Weber Quality We thought we would pay the higher price to get Weber quality. We bought our grill 8 years ago and kept it covered and well maintained. We live by the beach on Long Island. After one season it already looked unsightly. Not much help from Weber customer service. Better to not waste your money and buy a cheaper grill u can replace after a few seasons. I have friends with cheaper brands and their grills fared much better. Have been a Weber customer all my life with the little charcoal grills. But the love affair is over.
