Tuck-Away Rotisserie System

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inside Rusting and Non Existent Customer Service After less than three years, the grill is rusting in several places and is not usable. The flame comes out of a small fraction of one-two tubes and is only an inch or so producing no usable heat. The grate and flavorizer bars are rusting. A knob has broken. I have tried by phone to request replacement parts under warranty only to be hung up on two times. I tried to use your web chatbot, and the first time, after entering all the part numbers, the chatbot stated there was an error. I tried again, and after inputting all the part numbers, it would not let me complete the request. I have sent TWO emails with NO response. At this point, I am extremely an extremely unhappy customer. I paid full price for your grill that does not work and the warranty service procedure has been a nightmare. Below are the part #’s that I need to replace and install to make my grill usable again. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly design, cheap plastic, control knobs break I have had my S-470 for about one month. On the most frequent use one of the Plastic control knows broke and would not shut/adjust the gas flow. I had to pull one of the other knobs to shut it off. Close inspection revealed a very poor design which was sure to fail. On attempting to order replacement knobs I discovered that Weber has these knows on Back Order with no anticipated restock date. Other than the knobs, which is the most significant point of use contact with the grill, it is extremely functional and well designed. But if you can't turn it on and off it is a problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great grill but have a few issues. Not perfect I wanted to use the grill a few times before writing this review. The grill is awesome and I do not experience the flame ups normally experienced on the Weber Genesis. I really enjoy the smoke box. The grill cooks very well and my family has commented on how the food tastes a bit better. It is much easier to control the heat on this grill. It is also much easier and faster to clean. There are few items I am disappointed in. Gas valve to left of sear knob is hard to push in when during to light. It also requires the knob to be pulled out after lighting the burner to stop the lighting process. Knob is very rough when turned and does not move as freely as the others. Not sure how to correct this. I travel a lot and have not had time to reach out to your service department. The left door magnet was pushed into the door with just the corner of it still holding the magnet in place but it would not hold the door close. This was corrected by removing the bottom riveted trim panel, removing the magnetic holder from door and reinstalling. Trim panel was reinstalled. Doors are very crooked and could not be aligned with just sliding the doors in the bottom grooves. A washer had to be placed under the right door around the retaining pin to align it to the height of the other door. Both doors had to be slide to the far left to make them look symmetrical.
