Rated 5 out of 5 by CCrescini from Everything I wanted in a smoker/grill combo I've had it for a year now. I love it. I still tend to use a chimney starter to get my coals going, but even that is easier because of the gas lighter. I never user the charcoal storage, so would have preferred more and/or bigger drawers, but that's me being nit-picky. It easily fits three pork butts. One load of coals will hold 250 for around twelve hours in the spring and summer. Everything I love about the ceramic eggs, plus its lighter, less expensive, and requires less maintenance. Exactly what I wanted. If you do decide to buy one, take a few minutes and spray the cover with camping water repellent one a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by msches from The last grill that you’ll ever own I’ve been quite impressed so far from grilling beef tenderloins to smoking brisket and baby backs. Having previously owned 2 WSM (small and large) and a performer, this grill combines all of those great features into one. The best thing other than precise temperature control and outstanding results, is the ease of cleanup. I didn’t have that convenience with the WSMs. The only modifications I would recommend is putting adhesive pads under the Charcoal container so it prevents surface scratching when moving to and from its storage location. Also, I believe there is a better engineering solution to make the ash catcher container easier to remove when it needs to be emptied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MONSTER MM from I Made The Right Choice! I had been planning to replace my offset smoker/BBQ for nearly 2 years. Went back and forth between staying with charcoal or trying a pellet grill, but couldn't find anything that I could both grill on and do some smoking on. I just happened to stumble on the Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center at my local appliance store when picking up a part. After several visits and taking the unit apart, I made the conclusion, this is what I had to have. If I were to design something myself, this would be it. All I can say is that everything I grill or smoke on it has turned out top notch. Because of the air insulated enclosure and heat diffuser plate, I've even been able to smoke salmon. I've done 18 hour brisket smokes without having to add charcoal or use an entire bag. This thing is amazing!
