Rated 3 out of 5 by from Genesis S-335 Gas Grill The Things I like about the Weber Genesis. The burners always ignite with ease, the temp across the cooking surface is fairly even and the grill get plenty hot for searing steaks. Now for the things I don't like about the grill. I purchased the stainless steel Genesis grill. The stainless steel is not 304 but most likely 340 which is a cheaper stainless steel. When I think of Weber I think of quality materials and this grill was on the pricey side and I don't think the quality of materials warrants the price. One other down side is the gap between the head unit and shelves. It is about an inch and will allow any rain to get inside the cabinet. On the left side of the cabinet is all the electronics for the ignition and when it rains and you didn't cover the grill, they will get completely wet because of the gap. I didn't have these issues with my prior grill which was not a Weber. It had higher quality stainless steel, and the inside of the cabinet wasn't exposed to the elements. I purchased the Weber because of the name and what it meant as far as quality. Disappointed that Weber has sacrificed quality of the components and design but as far as the basic functions are there and work great. I just don't know if the grill is worth the price.
