You cannot actually control the grill on your phone. To access grill information from your smartphone, download the WEBER CONNECT app and then pair your phone to your grill. WEBER CONNECT app will walk you through this setup.

Upon downloading the WEBER CONNECT app, pair your grill to the app via Bluetooth by following these steps:

1.Turn your WEBER CONNECT display.

2.Open the WEBER CONNECT app and tap “Pair Device”

3.Hold your smartphone near the grill until it is detected by the app

4.Once the grill is found, tap “Pair”

5.Confirm the pairing on the WEBER CONNECT module; a visual is provided in the app for reference

No, you cannot control the grill from your smart phone. You can easily control your grill’s temperature using its precise burner knobs.

All 2022 GENESIS® grills are compatible with the WEBER CRAFTED Outdoor Kitchen Collection by purchasing a WEBER CRAFTED frame kit, if not already equipped. Below is a summary of what you will need depending on your grill model.

For GENESIS® models EPX-335, SPX-435, SX/EX-335, E/S-335 and E/S-435 (that include WEBER CRAFTED cooking grates and frame kit) you need to purchase following. Additional select models may come with the WEBER CRAFTED cooking grates and frame kit. Check with your WEBER retailer.*

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greg D in Florida from An Excellent Grill The Weber Genesis SX-335 Smart Gas Grill is an excellent grill. I owned a 1995 Weber Genesis grill that is still used at our old home in Connecticut by my daughter’s family. The SX-335 heats up fast, provides great temperature control, cooks uniformly, monitors grill and food temperature, has great storage and is built to last. What else is there? Well, I do have one suggestion for improvement and that is to also have a manual thermometer to monitor grill temperature. Two related things, the display panel is difficult to read in direct sunlight and what if there’s no power? A manual read thermometer is still a must in my experience.

We also paid a lot of money. However, it was not assembled correctly. The bottom shelf holding gas bottle was placed 180 degrees opposite. One of the gas burner would not ignite. Later we also learnt that the metal plates covering the burner were missing too. The manager at BBQ nation immediately accepted it back and fixed the problem. They had given us go ahead to use it before they fixed the issue as we were celebrating special occasion. However, they did not clean the burners before fixing and retiring it. We gave 4 stars because the grill was not a problem but the dealer was
