SmokeFire EX4 Wood Fired Pellet Grill is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Grill has Potential but Too Many Flaws I am having issues with the grill not igniting the pellets when starting up. There is a 50/50 chance if it will ignite the pellets and heat up as expected or if pellets will continuously pile on top of the glow plug without igniting which requires cleaning out the unit before trying again. I have spoken with the support team twice today but have not gotten a resolution yet. As others have mentioned, I have noticed that the right side of the smoker is significantly hotter at higher temperatures. I really want the smoker to work but may end up having to return it before the retailer's return policy expires if the smoker's issues can't be resolved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good grilling performance. Controller needs work I purchased and easily assembled this yesterday. This seems to be a very sturdy product and a well thought out design. I've used this 3 times now with very good grill performance. The reason for only 3 stars is the controller and weber connect wireless connection and app. I think the firmware needs alot of work and was very buggy and has limited features currently. Its easy to connect to your phone/app but the interface is a bit confusing and I was expecting more such as changing the set temperature, turning it on/off, etc. Also some of the features stop working or lock up such as displaying the probe temperature. The only way to fix the problem is to turn the grill off and back on. I expect Weber will figure this out, hopefully

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awesome idea! But........ Awesome idea! But it's got too many bugs that should of been worked out before release. I was so exited to have Weber come out with this! I decided to not get a new gas grill and ditch my old pellet cooker for this one grill that would do it all. But alas the reviews were correct. Using Weber brand pellets and following directions I couldn't keep this going long enough to cook a pork butt. It went out three times and has a 15 min cool down sequence before you can restart. One night it just would not get above 400 deg. I wanted to try it on steaks. I think cold weather effects its programming???? BUMMER. Returned it and bought the old stand by Genesis grill again.
