Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS GRILL!!! I have a friend with the same grill and she's had hers for 20 years so I figured this was well worth the investment and I have not been disappointed! It's easy to use and I have been grilling everything from veggie burgers to cauliflower steak to garlic bread. As a vegetarian, I've really missed the idea of a summer cookout, and after some less-than-stellar experiences with other gas grills, I'm thrilled that I decided on the Weber Q2000! The grates are close enough together to not lose asparagus and onions through the slots, and the heat cooks so evenly that I don't have to worry about burning the edges of my veggies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Plain Works. 35 years of gas grills and recently returned to charcoal because I was tired of cooking over a grease fire. Purchased a Weber propane because some places we stay don't allow charcoal. Best gas grill ever. Great sear marks and heat retention; the combination of the aluminum shell and the cast iron grate gives remarkable results. No flare ups because of the design, easy to clean and the food is without question moist and juicy. Best chicken ever, steaks aren't dried out and burgers are cooked moistly through and don't stick to the grill. A better result than sheet metal grills costing 10 times as much, and it won't rust out. This is truly a great design, I'm on track for a 3200 if I need a bigger grill. I won't need a bigger budget.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never worked well I bought the grill and for a time it works fine, then the gas did not work out well, I changed the regulator, it continued to malfunction. then change the hose, it continued to malfunction. Just turn on half the bbq. I called to ask for support, they promise me to returned the call but they never did it. I am very sorry to have bought the product. I pay much for a “good product but I received a bad quality

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little grill This is my second Weber Q grill. It's a perfect size for 1 or 2 people, with enough room to cook for a group on occasion. My first grill lasted about 15 years - I'm assuming the next one will last just as long. The only real difference I have noticed between the old and new models is that grill surface used to be one piece, now it's 2 pieces. Have to be a little careful putting things in the middle where the 2 pieces meet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Grill I got this grill for Father’s Day. I have sued it extensively ever since. It has really good heat distribution, and size. Even though it is a portable, it is still pretty big, and with a little planning, I can feed quite a big gathering. We bought the roll around (not the folding cart) and that essentially makes this into a regular stand up gas grill (the stand up cart come with a hose and provisions for a 20lb propane bottle.) Now, we need to convince Weber to bring the rotisserie to the USA (it is available in markets outside of the USA).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slow to heat. I have had the grill a year now and think the grill works well. I use it for camping often. The grill is quite heavy so moving it from place to place can be quite cumbersome. After taking grill out of the box, one of the grates would rock up and down as it was slightly curved. Weber sent me free grates to my house at no charge. One of those was curved as well but I used the good ones and all is well. The only complaint is that it takes a long time to heat up as the flames are low(even on high) and can blow out easily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Q Series 2000 burner problems I received grille for a gift. I’ve owned Weber gas and charcoal grille products gas grills my entire life. Never have I had this much problem with burner only lighting partially. All other gas grills I never experienced this issue. It’s been less than 4 Year’s since I got Grill. This product I would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grill I bought this grill because our 20 year old Weber Charcoal grill had finally given out. I wanted to to with propane because I was tired of messing with charcoal and the clean up afterward. Someone suggested this grill due to easy clean up and were they ever right. I love the catch plate at the bottom of the grill for grease, etc. That makes cleaning a piece of cake, as you merely throw that pan out and put another in. I highly recommend this grill for anyone looking for something easy to use and easy to clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced junk Purchased at Ace Hardware...won't make that mistake again....they stand behind nothing! This grill hasn't worked right since I purchased it. Weber did send me all new parts which I installed and still does not work properly. Would not purchased a Weber grill again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FineProduct and A+ Costumer Service I have used this model grill for about 10 years now. The grill size is fine for six or so servings. If you are cooking for a larger party, it it may be too small. The only flaw is uneven heating around the perimeter. This in effect reduces the cooking area by about 1" length wise and 2" width. Customer service is A+/ After I purchased a second grill, it wouldn't heat up very much. A Weber rep diagnosed the problem as a regulator issue and promptly send me a new one. Response was very fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bought as a upgrade from q 100 Very happy with the grill as an upgrade from the q 100.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Thermometer Take note that the Q2000 does not have a Thermometer. While I should have noticed this in the picture, I have never purchased a grill that did not have one. Contacted customer service and they explained that the one I purchased was cheaper and did not have one. Bigger problem is that one cannot be installed since there is no bracket or hole to install one on the grill cover. I have purchased 4 Weber grills in the past with two currently still be used. Not at all satisfied with the Q2000.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A die-hard Weber I received my first Weber Q grill 10 years ago, making the switch from a true-blue Weber charcoal griller to a gas-griller. The Q grill has been reliable and heats evenly, which is important. I have never had a "failure" cooking on the grill; it has had to step in when an easy-spirit grill wouldn't light. I like cooking on the Q grill better than the Easy Spirit line, as the grates are smaller, which makes cooking vegetables a snap without needing a grill basket, not to mention when grilling shrimp. The only "down-side" is that, after extended use, the heating element holes have a tendency to plug up from grease dripping, which doesn't allow the grill to heat evenly. However the unit is not terribly expensive to replace. I'm still using the same unit I bought 10 years ago - a true Weber!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my Q!! I bought a Weber Q 2000 grill a year ago. It has been just great! I love its portability. I took it on vacations, to the lake for picnics, and of course use it at home on a regular basis. I have used the smoker wood chip box a few times. It does add the smoky flavor I love, but using the box takes away a good bit of room for grilling. I am still learning how to perfect this. It is easy to clean, which I do after every use. I highly recommend this grill if you want portability in a Weber.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORROR After being a life long Weber advocate, the Q2200 and matching griddle are complete garbage! Barely gets hot enough to cook hotdogs and the custom fit griddle sticks like glue even when using oils.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great product that will last for years I can't remember how long ago I bought my "Q," but I'll guess it's been 15 years and be ready to admit that it's been longer than that. The Q was my first gas grill. Before then (for 20 years) it had always been charcoal. It turns out that this little grill is perfect for everyday grilling. I'm using the same grill today. I only needed to replace the grill, and that I just did this year I can recommend this grill to anyone looking for a simple but effective grill for two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At Home or on the Go! This Q2000 grill from Weber is perfect for us, living in a retirement community and still RVing in our Airstream. With the stand and a 20-lb propane tank, we can grill outside our duplex and take the Q with us camping. It cooks steaks, chops, chicken breasts, hamburgers and hot dogs, and has a grilling area large enough to cook meat for a family of five or six! I have loved Weber grills since we bought the large Weber charcoal grill in 1970! They are terrific and last forever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not live up to reputation I purchased my first Weber grill in 1986. I am in total disbelief as to the increase in price and decrease in quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Storage and Cleaning We bought this grill about one month ago for our RV. The grill was easy to assemble and stores easily. We also purchased the stand sold separately for this grill. Combined they compress wonderfully. The grill cooks very evenly and the clean up was fantastic. A few simple wipes in the bottom of the bowl area and everything came out with ease. The grill had high remarks and reviews which led to our purchase and we are glad we did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Size Versatile I like the size and performance of this grill . It lays down beautiful grill marks and the cooking surface roasts meats and vegetables fairly evenly. I take it camping too because it isn't hard to transport . Of the grills I've owned ,I like this one best. It's easy to clean . Also I had a problem initially and the techs at Weber helped me fix it. I i didn't have to wait a lengthy time for someone to talk to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this grill 2 1/2 weeks ago to use at the beach and while tailgating. I was the king of the beach the first time that I used this grilled. It performed flawlessly. The second time, not all of the the burner would light. Each of the next two times that I used this, less and less of the burner tube lit. I'm home now, and I am going to give it a cleaning. If i can't get it to work, it's going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this little grill. We used the Q1000 for 7 years and decided to upgrade to the Q2000 after experiencing such a great lifespan with the smaller one, which still works like a champ. It’s not rusted. The gas line is still intact. We just wanted a bigger cooking surface. The flip outs are nice and gives us a place to set our food when putting on and taking off the grill. Love this beastly little grill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bigger than I thought it would be I purchased this for my boat last summer. It is quite a bit bigger than I wanted, but the price was right and it's a Weber. I'm glad I ended up with the extra real estate, as the smaller version would not handle feeding 8 people at once. My only negative comment is it is a bit on the heavy side for a small yourself a favor and purchase the folding/rolling stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Portable Grill for our Motor Home We have been using one of the old Weber portable grills, some times when we have family over we like to cook chicken and burgers and needed more space, this grill hit the mark. This grill has not had the flame blow out, I hate that since you have to try and guess how much longer you need to cook. So we are pleased with this purchase from Weber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best grill ever!! I have had my Q2000 for about a month and use it almost everyday. I bought the stand for it and it rolls in and out of the garage very nicely. I have grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, burgers, sausage and hotdogs-EVERYTHING has turned out delicious!! The grill is simply to use and cook area is just like a full size grill. Clean up is a breeze.
