You cannot actually control the grill on your phone. To access grill information from your smartphone, download the WEBER CONNECT app and then pair your phone to your grill. WEBER CONNECT app will walk you through this setup. 

Upon downloading the WEBER CONNECT app, pair your grill to the app via Bluetooth by following these steps:

1.Turn your WEBER CONNECT display.

2.Open the WEBER CONNECT app and tap “Pair Device”

3.Hold your smartphone near the grill until it is detected by the app

4.Once the grill is found, tap “Pair”

5.Confirm the pairing on the WEBER CONNECT module; a visual is provided in the app for reference

No, you cannot control the grill from your smart phone. You can easily control your grill’s temperature using its precise burner knobs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weber connect module Genesis EX/SX 325 S won't tur my weber connect module doesn't turn on , there is power, it was just delivered, its the EX-325s model does not activate, and the customer support person has no clue how to fix it. He said he would call me back within a half hour after we spoke, never heard from him. Just delivered over 1000 grill and no support, this is horrible!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent grill with many features. A+ This has turned out to be a great grill! It heats up quick and when turned up with sear, it easily gets around 600 (I haven’t tried to see what the max can be). Leaves nice sear marks. Handy digital thermostat readout. Didn’t realize it has a scale attached to propane so you can monitor level without the old lift it method. Looks great. Sturdy and well built.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from EX 325 needs improvement I am a bit disappointed. I've been using Weber grills for over 50 years. There are a couple things I do not like about this model: it does not heat up as quickly as my Genesis 2 unless you use the sear feature. If you do that, once it heats up it is difficult to control the heat mainly reducing it. This grill also seems to use far more gas when cooking than my older model. Also, the fact that the unit itself is not completely enclosed on the sides is really a bad design. Not only does it not look appealing, but it allows for bugs and/or animals to get into the drip pan area. I did not see this before the grill was delivered, or I would not have purchased it. I do like the digital temp readout, although I question how long it will function. Not your best effort!
