Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened?? My family has ALWAYS used Webers!!! Since my Dad bought the kettle in the 70s ...After retiring our Weber from the mid 90s...We bought a 3 burner Spirit. Buying a quality grill deserves a quality cover to preserve it. Right? I'm sorry...but, spending that kind of money on a cover is a total failure! It fit nicely...but, trying to connect the velcro closures properly is ridiculous! For Pete's sake! When someone comes up with a new idea to 'improve' production....don't just nod your heads yes. I am returning the cover. Hopefully I can find something that will work better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money I bought this grill cover when I purchased my new Weber Spirit II E-310. Despite all the negative reviews I decided to give it a chance, after all, it is a Weber product. What a huge mistake! This cover is cheaply made and the velcro straps do not stay secured. After blowing half off the grill multiple times, I finally came home to see that it had blown completely off the grill. I have a second floor balcony in the city so the cover was long gone! It only lasted 3 weeks!! I have already purchased a less expensive, better quality product off Amazon to replace it. Don't waste your money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I highly recommend that Weber works on the design of their covers. This one is completely useless. I velcroed that sucker on as tight as I could and when I came home from a weekend away it was gone. My guess is someone sneezed next door & it blew off. Never to be seen again. Huge waste of money. Would love to protect my husband’s engagement gift but it’s not possible with this Weber grill cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money for this cover. 1st cover fell apart after a few months, 2nd cover (free replacement from Weber) now has the same problem and has cracks all over it. You would think after years of bad reviews and unhappy customers someone would take notice and start making covers (and grills for that...) like weber used to. Having defective covers has let in the elements and now my frame is rotting away. another year or 2 and my grill will end up in the scrap pile. Really sad to see the king of the grilling world waste away to cheaper standards.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish I had the older style cover! I've had Weber grills for years and have always loved the Weber covers. So when I got a new grill, of course I bought the new "improved" cover. Huge mistake! This new style with all the different velcro closures is a complete disaster!! It is extremely difficult to get it on and off the grill, as the velcro sticks to itself in the process, making it really hard manage. It's also much more difficult to secure the short little tabs. Wish I had bought the old style!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk This cover is a joke. A waste of money which I can't afford.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy I just purchased the cover from Home Depot for my Spirit E200 grill. I am now reading the reviews, which I should've done before I bought It. What happened to the heavy-duty vinyl that you had before? One strong wind and this cover will fly right off the grill. I am going to attach the receipt inside the grill because I am sure it will need to be replaced within your 3-year warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 Year Warranty does not justify POOR quality I finally had to replace my Weber Spirit 310 cover after 9 years. The "new" Weber grill cover is a sad joke. Do not buy it!! I have returned my purchase to Lowes and will look for a generic brand with some durability. Weber please go back to the covers of past years! This is NOT an improvement, just a cheap replacement that you still want to charge $65 for. Your reputation is taking a beating on this; please reverse your tracks!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality seems less superior than past Weber cover I purchased my Weber back in 2003 and bought the Weber grill cover to protect my investment. That grill cover lasted for years, so needless to say I did not mind spending the hefty price for the great quality grill cover. I have just purchased my 4th Weber grill cover, and upon opening I am feeling a little nervous. The material and quality seems less superior than my previous Weber grill covers. Granted, I thought the same thing with my previous Weber grill cover, which only lasted 2 years. I understand this purchase has a three year limited warranty, but I really want to register my grill cover but do not see where I am able to do this. Any suggestions? I will update my review as time progresses but if this grill cover does not hold up, it will likely be the last one I purchase from Weber.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t Stay on in the Wind I purchased this cover a month ago. The Weber covers were recommended to me as holding up better than the off brand covers. So I spent the extra money. Unfortunately, every time the wind blows it comes off and I end up chasing it around the yard, or searching for it the next morning. The first couple times I thought maybe I was just not using the Velcro correctly so I went back and consulted the directions again. However even after doing so I can not keep the cover on the grill. The cheaper covers that I have bought over the years have not had this issue and had a much better means of fastening it to the grill. I have been a longtime Weber grill/product user and have been very satisfied so never minded spending the extra money. I can not say that is the case when it comes to their grill covers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Grills are great, cover not so much. I was so happy with my May 2018 purchase of my first Weber gas grill that I just purchased a second one for my camp. While they are expensive, the second cheap grill (not Weber) that I had purchased previously is a piece of junk once again. However, the covers are a different story. I thought I would purchase the Weber cover to go with my first great grill and after 4 months it's got a small rip in a seam already !!! Still usable but....I'm getting a cheaper cover for Weber Grill #2.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in cover quality. Bought a new Weber grill cover for my Spirit 300. This new cover is so thin and cheap compared to the last one I bought 4 years ago. What happened Weber? This is very disappointing in a cover for my very high quality grill. You make high dollar grills but now make a cheap quality grill cover??? Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back older style I agree with most of the reviews here. I bought this new cover at the beginning of last season and i am very disappointed that it is not the quality of the one bought with my grill in 2011. My main complaint is that when the wind comes up (and it does often here I have to weight this one down where the original was secured better. There is a lot of Velcro on this one that really doesn’t do anything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Look for alternative product I bought this product for my weber spirit 300 and its so snug eventually wripped. I'll ether try a tarp or another product to replace this cover

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waterproof, but fastening straps doesn't last Purchased this Weber black grill cover in mid-April, and the fastening straps have already stopped working in less than six months. While the cover have proven waterproof, the velcro does not last on this cover, which in effect makes the cover useless as it won't stay on the grill during any measurable wind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappo This is a thin, flimsy cover and does not compare well with the heavy duty cover it replaced, which lasted over ten years and is actually still serviceable. The Velcro closures are useless, with no straps and Velcro strips with no way to utilize them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bummer Just bought this cover on Monday (as in two days ago) for my brand new Weber grill. It rained last night and when I took the cover off to grill tonight the top of the grill was wet as was the inside of the cover. Clearly it's not waterproof. Can I get a refund or a replacement? For $60 I would have expected a waterproof cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible! Similar to other reviews, I purchased this as a replacement and it is of extremely poor quality compared to the last one, which lasted 7 years. I don’t know where to go to get a proper replacement. This Weber replacement should cost no more than $10 as it won’t last...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from velcro ripped my cover has faded and the Velcro has straps are torn. way to expensive to only last a year

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good. Started cracking after a year. Cracked after one season, now it just leaks completely. Gets really stiff and hard to put on. First Weber product I have been unhappy with. Been getting Weber products my whole adult life. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap This cover is light and cheap. A little wind and it gets blown off. The securing system is a joke. Have only had this cover for a few months. Will look at a different manufacturer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this cover is a very poor design. there is no velcro straps to join together, and the overall quality is terrible. 67.99 the cost should have been 10 - 20 dollars maybe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great cover, bad velcro attachment straps. I have a Spirit SP-330 NG SS grill and absolutely love it. Have had it for almost three years. The cover it came with is also in great shape, however, a few months ago the Velcro straps on each end now do not do their jobs. The cover is in excellent shape. A bit faded after three years but that is expected. No tears, rips, holes or other damage. Just the Velcro no longer holds together. Surely hate the thought of spending $60 + dollars on a new cover when either new Velcro is the fix or maybe a better attachment strap. Guess I'll have to rig something or replace the Velcro with another option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faded to Grey in 1 year Bought this a year ago when I purchased my new Weber 3 burner grill. Grill is great, cover not so much. Cheap fabric, looks like an off brand special that should cost $20,00 at the most. Never saw anything fade so quickly. Can’t believe they even put their name on it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not too thrilled This cover replaces my 15yrs old original weber cover, but it is not close to the quality of the old one. It is quite thin and unfortunately one of the seams was separated (I repaired with glue). Feeling that it's not worth the price.
Date published: 2018-12-28
Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Velcro System is Terrible The new velcro system to keep the cover on the grill is not very functional. The grill cover flew off my grill within the first week I had it. The old straps allowed you to tighten it down enough to keep it on the grill on windy days.
