For as long as I can remember, my dad has loved cooking on grills. He’s owned a few different grills over the years. Once he purchased his first Weber about a year ago, that’s all he talks about. He not only loves to cook, but he loves to talk about how he cooks. Now that he uses Weber grills he talks about them to anyone who will listen! I believe my dad could learn a lot from Kevin and would appreciate his knowledge about becoming a backyard grill master.
My dad has a Weber grill (Genesis), a Weber smoker (like they use on “BBQ Pitmasters”), and he just recently purchased a Weber (Performer). I see my dad reading about his grills all the time just trying to find new things and ways to grill or smoke. My aunt told my dad a couple of weeks ago she needed a new grill, and he said, “Do not get anything but a Weber, you will not be sorry!”
I am 11-years-old and want to follow in my dad’s footsteps and learn how to grill and smoke. My dad loves to teach me everything he knows about cooking. Cooking is a great way for us to spend time together, and for Dad to pass on something to me that his Dad passed on to him years ago. This trip would be a great way for me and my dad to spend some quality time together and learn more about grilling and smoking!
