My dad recently (within the last 5 or so years) really developed a passion for cooking/grilling. For example, he used to use steak-ums for steak sandwiches when he was younger, but now he slices his own ribeye. Although his regular cooking skills are phenomenal, I believe he could really use a great grilling course. He does own a 20-year-old weber gas grill, but has absolutely no charcoal grilling experience and never speaks about grilling techniques because I assume he just hasn't been taught. I'm sure he would be absolutely thrilled to travel to Chicago and learn from the best!
