In the process of rebuilding my girlfriend's 2001 Silver C this spring I became educated on how well-built these grills are, and I've been kicking myself for buying throw-away grills all these years. Fate must have taken pity on me because last week I found a Silver B on the side of the road with a "free" sign taped to it. I threw it right in the back of the van and took it home. I figured I'd be in for $150 or so to rebuild it, which is still a bargain. Upon inspection at home, all it needed was a thorough cleaning and new flavorizer bars. Amazing how well these grills last! Looking forward to years of cooking on my bargain find.
