I've been using this for the 6 weeks. I grill 3 times a week typically and have been grilling for 20 years.
-The cooking area is huge which was a big reason for getting this particular grill. I could see fitting at least 30 hamburgers on it.
-It preheats quickly.
-It is heavy duty and made mostly of steel and iron. It feels and looks like it will last a while.
-I've done steaks, chicken breasts, asparagus, and salmon to name a few things and they've all turned out just as well as my previous grilling on a $200 Brinkmann 4 burner LP grill.
-The stainless steel grates are equivalent to the cast iron grates I had previously. The grates are a large diameter, so you don't get those classic thin grill marks.
-The BBQ tool holders on each side look really nice, but they are not deep, meaning the tools tend to fall off at times, especially when its windy, even with the cover on. I decided to store the tools under the grill after collecting them from the yard on 2 occasions. Also, my tongs wouldn't stay on the hooks because they are not long enough.
Could be better:
-The wheels on the bottom are plastic which I find very disappointing given, again, the price. We had a heavy wind storm, the grill moved a bit and cracked half of one of the wheels off.
-The heat delivered over the grill surface is not as uniform as it should be. It will take me a few more months to learn where the hotter and cooler areas are -- just like with every other grill I have had. I noticed this disparity of even heating while cooking 16 chicken breasts and some had great grill marks and others, not so much. And yes, I let the grill pre-heat for 10 minutes at a reasonable ambient air temperature and minimal wind conditions.
For me, the price point doesn't exactly match up to what you get. This review should be glowing -- 5 stars, ratings high across the board. I've always found the pricing for Weber grills to be a bit pretentious, but everything I've heard and read told me they are top of the line, so I decided to give one a try. I'm not disappointed by any means, just not blown away like I thought I would be.

Quality is important.
There are so many gas grills on the market that are made by someone else, it's hard to know who will stand behind it. I live on the water in Florida and the salt can reduce a grill to a rusted hulk, in a matter of years. With that in mind, I decided to step up and get the 620. It's not all stainless, I wish it was. I have used it 2-3 times a week for three years now and it still looks and works great. I recently noticed, while cleaning the unit, that a few items were rusting out. After a call and a few e-mails my warranted parts were replaced. She's now good as new. One facet I really like about this grill is it can get really hot. Easily 650 + degrees, which is great when you're grilling steaks. BTW, this grill is also made in the US... something to think about.
