When we set out to design an exceptional gas grill in 1983, we had our work cut out for us. After all, being the top charcoal grill maker in the U.S., our standards were already set pretty high. But we honestly believed that gas grill owners deserved the same great grilling experience Weber charcoal grill owners had always enjoyed.
After doing our homework with backyard heroes all across the country, we invented a completely new cooking system that virtually eliminates flare-ups and offers ultimate control of cooking temperatures. It's at the heart of every Weber gas grill we make.
