The ’90s

The next generation.

When George passed away in 1993 his son Jim took over the Weber reins. Most of George’s children (and many grandchildren, too) are still actively involved in the business, upholding the reputation their father had worked so hard to establish. This next generation didn’t slow down: this was the decade that the Huntley, Illinois, factory and warehouse opened, the first Weber cookbook was published, and the Summit Series gas grills were introduced.
